Alex Dallas founded the label Drumpoet Community together with Ron Shiller from Soultourist and Compost Records in 2006. He constructs his music by altering popular tracks and presenting them in a new light that provides access to a new perspective. A good example for his artistic success is the label Straight Ahead. His music contains a pallette of styles like soul, jazz, hip hop, afrobeat and many more.
