Rana Farahani, also know as "Fauna", was born in 1982 in Tehran.
At the age of 3, she moved to Vienna, and first discovered electronic music in 2005 via the booming Viennese electronic scene. First productions followed, and she soon became a resident DJ for the well known techno club "CRAZY" at the leading Austrian club FLEX, an occupation she still pursues.
For quite some time now, Fauna produces in her own home studio and keeps refining her skills; first releases followed on "FLEXSchallplatten" and "Female Pressure".
