Don’t let the name fool you, although Jake the Rapper has rapped for years, and has been known to lend his voice to the occasional tech-house artist (appearing on tracks with Axel Bartsch, Thomas Schumacher, Ronald Christoph, Format B, Kiki, Terranova, Brian Cares, and others as well as his own), and also been known to grab the microphone during a DJ set, right now Jake loves to play house music. He started DJing seriously when he moved to Berlin in 2005 and discovered the Bar 25. Immediately taken with the place, he quickly became one of the resident DJs and permanent fixtures. He spent the next 4 years DJing wherever the party was, leading him to be voted one of the best DJs of 2008 by Groove Magazine’s reader poll.
